Munn's Diamond Gallery

My husband bought my heart-shaped engagement ring in Philadelphia 18 months ago. I stopped in Munn’s last week to have them look at why the diamond kept snagging on everything. Chris took a look, asked if he could fix the prongs that had moved, and polished my ring — all free of charge. He explained what happened and assured me the prongs were safe and I wouldn’t lose the stone. After I left, I still didn’t feel good about the original prongs moving and went back to Munn’s days later. Chris offered to order a new mount with a gallery rail for me to see if I wanted to consider re-setting the stone. I loved the idea, got to keep my original band, and in just 3 days everything was done. I also asked my wedding band be soldered to the re-set ring. I am so happy with the outcome! I feel so much better, and my rings are set perfectly and look so amazing! This was such a better choice than going back to Philly, waiting for it to be done and shipped, and paying double the cost. I definitely recommend Munn’s, whether you’re buying or just gathering knowledge, they were so kind, helpful, and cost effective!

Brought in some old family rings to get sized. I did not ask to have them cleaned. They cleaned the one ring and did no check the ring first and the diamond fell out and wanted to charge me to fix it when they broke it due to irresponsibility. Jeweler ignored me when I came in to pick up the rings. Rude people and poor service. The diamond was not missing from the ring the employees lie. The girl cleaned the ring, she said she did not check it before she cleaned the ring and the diamond fell out she wanted to charge me to put the diamond back in. Unbelievable.

I had high hopes for Munn’s as they came highly recommended. Unfortunately, I will not be using them again. I dropped off my grandmother’s tennis bracelet to be resized and was told when I dropped it off, that I should have an estimate within a few days and the piece back by the end of the week. Six and a half weeks later, I finally have the piece back. Communication was nonexistent and required weekly follow-up on my part. I was told every time I called that someone would reach out with an update the following day. This never occurred until I asked to pick my piece up and take it elsewhere. At that point, the jewelry magically made it to the laser gold smith and I was given an estimate on the spot. When I finally was told I could pick up the piece, they had taken out too many links (yes, they had measured my wrist), so it had to go back to the gold smith. I was told it would be expedited. Once again, not true. They also tried to charge me more than the original estimate. Luckily, the owner was there and stated that he would honor the original quote. I do have the piece back and it looks fine, but this was a terrible experience start to finish. I do not recommend.
