Always wanted to stop by this place and have some proper desi food. While heading towards the airport one afternoon, finally made the decision to try it out for lunch. I’d heard great things about their shahi daal, so went straight for it — ordered the shahi daal with tandoori paratha and a glass of lassi. Oh boy, what a treat. The daal was packed with flavour and generously topped with desi ghee (I’ll admit, I had to scoop a bit out). The tandoori paratha was perfectly crisp on the edges and soft inside, pairing beautifully with the daal. And the lassi — pure bliss. Thick, creamy, and the perfect way to end the meal. Finding the place is easy as it’s right on the Srinagar Highway with clear signage. 🅿️ Ample parking space is available on the premises. ♿️ Wheelchair accessibility could be a concern — there are steps leading up to both the male and family halls, and no visible ramps.

Starting with the negatives — so if the management happens to read this, they can work on improving, and if you're planning to visit, you can manage your expectations in advance. The chickpeas were small in size and of poor quality. The so-called "Nihari" tasted more like a bland qorma-style curry, lacking the authentic flavor. The culcha was overly salty, and the restaurant seemed to discourage payment through credit cards, which was quite inconvenient. Now for the positives: The dining hall is spacious, well-maintained, and hygienically clean with a pleasant ambience. Additionally, there’s ample parking available, which is always a plus.

Not happy at all... After a lot of wait, the meal wasn't even warmer but was cold! The plates on table were not clean and non hygienic... Imagine the taste of microwaved meal... And a small grasshopper in Kheer!? Totally discourage new customers...

We stopped here on our way back home and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. It took roughly 35 mins for our food to arrive, which was a tad irritating. However, it was worth the wait as everything was freshly prepared and it was delicious. Service was great despite the fairly long wait. The Mutton Kebabs were spiced perfectly and the meat was tender and not gamey at all. The Chicken Makhni Karahi also went down a treat with the Garlic Naan. The highlight of the meal had to be the Daal. I'm a big fan of Daal so I know when it's the real deal. For drinks, the Mint Margharitas were the ideal end to a filling meal. It definitely helped with digestion.

I visited this hotel when I came to Road Master terminal to take someone coming from Lahore. I really like the vibe and atmosphere of this restaurant. clean and tidy. A lot of parking space with a humble and cooperative staff specilly the waiters. I love the presentation of AalonBukara chatni in the showcase I uploaded a photo of that showcase. It was delicious and economic as compared to other terminals and stations'. Appreciated 👍
