I recently had the pleasure of working with Matheney Heating and Air, and I must say that they truly go above and beyond when it comes to their service. Scott, one of their technicians, came to my house a few weeks ago to diagnose an issue with my furnace. I was impressed with his expertise and professionalism throughout the entire process. Within a week, Scott had located a new part for my old furnace. What impressed me the most was his honesty and fairness. He could have easily told me that I needed a new furnace, but instead, he helped me find a way to keep my old furnace running. This not only saved me money but also showed his dedication to providing the best solution for his customers. Scott's helpfulness and fair pricing were truly commendable. He took the time to explain the issue and the available options, ensuring that I understood everything clearly. His expertise and willingness to assist me in prolonging the life of my old furnace were greatly appreciated. Update, they made it out asap. Found another issue with the furnace. I can't say enough good things about the service Scott offeres, but not sold on this furnace. Too many problems on a new unit. He said they will take care of it, but offers no reliability to heat my home. At a loss at this point. Purchased a new furnace almost 2 years ago from this company. Since it was installed it's never ran properly. They have had to come out every season change as the furnace would not kick on and even effected parts on my ac when using in summer. During each trip things were looked at and parts replaced or updated on a brand new unit. Upon one of the trips out, keep in mind this has been installed for almost 2 years, Scott discovered that something on the furnace was wired incorrectly from the original install. They thought it was fixed, and since have had a hard time getting them out to take a look especially after speaking my mind about a lemon furnace. They typically offer amazing service but with all the trouble I've had. I'd expect the unit to be replaced at this point. I'm hoping I have an update with better news to share, but as of today I would be hesitate on a new unit from here. I've been a loyal customer for over 8 years, and my family for over 15 years. Scott came out within hours of my call. Found the actual issue(cracked manifold) within minutes after another company just blamed my smart thermostat. Then had the whole furnace replaced in under 2 business days. I couldn't be happier with the work.
