Visited Mandarin Kitchen in Gulberg for the very first time, and it was an absolute delight. The cozy yet welcoming ambiance immediately set the tone for a great evening. We ordered the Mandarin Special Soup, Classic Dumpling Basket, Shanghai Chicken, and Tamarind Fish. Each dish was bursting with flavors, but the Shanghai Chicken truly stood out with its fiery kick — perfect for spice lovers! The Tamarind Fish was another highlight, offering a perfect balance of tangy and savory. Overall, a fantastic culinary experience with great service and an inviting atmosphere. We recently dined at Mandarin Kitchen, and the experience was delightful from start to finish. The meal began with Tempura Prawns, which were beautifully golden, crisp on the outside, and juicy inside. They struck a perfect balance — light, non-greasy, and served with a dipping sauce that added a nice tang. Next came the Korean Fried Chicken, and it was the star of the night. Coated in a sticky, slightly spicy glaze, the chicken was crispy yet tender. The flavors were bold and addictive, making it a dish we’d definitely return for. The House Special Beef followed, and it didn’t disappoint. The beef was succulent and cooked to perfection, coated in a rich, savory sauce that had hints of garlic and pepper. It paired wonderfully with the accompanying vegetables, offering a satisfying bite with each forkful. We ended the meal with the Laksa Curry, a warm, comforting bowl of coconut-based curry broth. It was mildly spicy, with a beautiful depth of flavor. The noodles were cooked just right, and the curry was generously loaded with tofu, prawns, and vegetables — making it both hearty and fulfilling. Overall, Mandarin Kitchen delivered a well-rounded and memorable dining experience. The service was friendly, the ambiance cozy yet modern, and each dish was clearly prepared with care and precision. It’s a place that blends comfort food with bold flavors, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Nice and cozy place with good food. Started with dynamite prawns, which were the best in all of what we ordered. 9/10 They offer Thai, Chinese, and Korean food. We ordered from the Chinese menu containing chowmin 8.5/10, Chicken fried rice 8/10 Kunfao Chicken 7.5/10. The Peach tea 7/10 and margarita 8/10 was also ordered. Sitting is limited but we went there at the time when we easily got the table. The parking space was very limited.

Time: dumplings came within 15 mints. Fish order took more than 20 mints. Went on 03-Jul-Sun-25 between 01:40pm -02:20pm. After 02:45pm Hi-tea starts. Atmosphere: Dark interior. They should introduce more bright lights either or let sun light come in partially more.

Apart from one or two dishes, the overall taste was quite average. The prawns were also disappointing small in size and lacking flavor. Mandarin Kitchen feels overpriced for the quality and taste it offers. Definitely not worth the cost considering the experience.
