Such an amazing, cool hardware store! Let me give you some context….my grandfather owned an ace hardware store in California in the early 1900s (taken over by my dad and his brother)....so I have some early love and curiosity to experience every Ace we come upon. Not my normal go-to shopping but there is something about the smell….and absolutely EVERY ace is different. Some are hardcore hardware, some with housewares, some with limited holiday…but NOTHING like I experienced in Kona. Man!! It was exciting to see an Ace with a beautiful holiday inventory - the buyer for this store has good taste with holiday and offers unique items (not like Hobby Lobby or any of the yuck yuck goopy stores). My husband also liked the fishing offerings. AND the service was amazing. So welcoming, so personable. I wished I could remember her name. We visited on Friday, October 11 - give that gal a raise! 😀

Very disappointed, I have shopped at ACE stores on Oahu, Maui and Kauai, they all offer military discount. This is the only store, I have found that does not offer a military discount! They say shop locally to help the local businesses. What about local businesses helping the locals? I will not be shopping at this ACE store again!

Worst experience ever. Was treated with no respect from a cashier. I'll go to home depot or Lowes. No wonder you are not doing good. Im carrying a backpack for work and needed to.get some supplies Guess you don't need the business. We won't come back

I ordered a lamp harp on February 22 on the website. It said I’d get it on February 23. I didn’t get it until March 11. They make it impossible on their website to cancel the order! Do not attempt to ever order anything online. And if you do, don’t ever believe what date they say, it will arrive.
