I recently had dinner at Khayyam, and while the ambience was excellent, the food quality was quite disappointing. We ordered the full platter, but unfortunately, the mutton ribs were almost meatless, and the chicken items were undercooked. The overall dining experience was let down by the poor food quality. I wouldn’t recommend the food at all and am only giving 2 stars for the sake of the nice ambience. If they improve their food quality, this place has potential, but for now, it’s not worth it.

A few touches like soft lighting and subtle decorations give it a pleasant evening vibe rather than fast-food feel. During my visit, it felt lively yet relaxed, which is a good combination. Service & Staff The staff were courteous and attentive throughout. From being greeted at the door to being shown to a table, the service felt efficient. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offered suggestions, and responded well when we asked about how dishes were prepared or whether they could adjust spice levels. One small improvement area is speed when the restaurant became busy there was a slight delay in receiving drinks and one dish took longer than expected. But overall the service was solid and friendly. Food Quality & Variety The menu offers a good range of Pakistani and perhaps fusion dishes traditional favourites and some non-traditional items. The flavours were generally good: the spices were fresh, meat was well-cooked, and portions were generous. For example, the masalas in the chicken dish we tried were well-balanced aromatic without being overpowering. The bread and rice served alongside were also fresh. One memorable dish: the barbeque item (I ordered) had a good smoky flavour and was served hot. On the dessert side, the gulab jamun was soft and syrupy. If I were to pick a minor critique: one dish (a side) arrived with presentation a bit less polished than the rest — slightly uneven plating. But taste was unaffected. Cleanliness & Hygiene The tableware was clean, the floors looked swept, and the washrooms (visited) were tidy. Given the current heightened concern around hygiene, this was reassuring. Staff seemed conscious of keeping things neat (napkins, water glasses topped up). A small suggestion: I noticed one high-chair area could do with a little extra attention (some wear showing on the chair), but that’s minor in the grand scheme. Value for Money Prices are reasonable for the quality and ambience. You’re paying more than a very basic local eatery, but you’re also getting a more comfortable dining experience, good service, and overall better setting. For the portion sizes and quality, I felt it offered fair value. Ideal for mid-to-upper–mid budget guests rather than ultra-budget. When to Go / Tips Visit in early evening (before 9 pm) if you prefer a quieter table; later gets busier and a bit louder. Ask the staff about daily specials there were a couple of items not on the printed menu which they mentioned as “chef’s choice”. If you’re particular about spice levels or diet (e.g., less oil), mention it the kitchen seemed willing to accommodate. Parking: If you drive, allow a few extra minutes for parking/entry at busy times. For larger groups: there is space, but making a reservation might help during peak weekend times. Summary In summary, Khayyam Qila Restaurant is a strong choice for a comfortable, enjoyable dining outing in Faisalabad. With good food, attentive service, and a clean, pleasant environment, it offers a dependable experience. While not perfect (a slight delay during busy times and minor presentation hiccup), the overall impression is very positive. Food taste was 4/10 and service was ok but the atmosphere was neat and clean.. This restaurant is only good for taking pictures

I visited during eid holidays to khayyam civil lines near fun land faisalabad. Atmosphere, food, timely delivery and sitting area was amazing. We tried from soup, shrimps, bbq, juices, parathas, pizza, karahi and a lot more. Every thing was exceptional. There was a violinist at the entrance who played amazing song for us. There is a lovely entrance and water feature. Toilets are clean. Parking is available but we used the fun land parking as my car was already parked there. Khyyam has an amazing outdoor sitting also. But due to late night visit and mosquito's in the area. We preferred to sit in their indoor venue. I give it 5/5 stars.
