Getting an oil change and my North Carolina vehicle inspection done at Johnson's Transmission and Auto Service was a very pleasant experience. And to top it off, they give Military/Law Enforcement a 10% discount. Never in the past 58 years, since I enlisted in the US Navy, did I ever receive a 10% discount at an automobile repair facility. In the past, work done at my dealership generally took 4 hours or more. At Johnson's Transmission and Auto Service that same work was completed in 1/3 of the time. Additionally, there was a comfortable customer waiting area with television and free coffee. Johnson's went above and beyond, each time we done business with them. Today they out ranked themselves. My husband passed away in January 2026. And as a woman, I know nothing about vehicle's. They showed me that they care about the people and not so much the money. For that, I am grateful. My husband had no life insurance and I just had to pay for his funeral stuff.
