HAGGERTY Construction

I do not recommend to hire Haggerty to do your restorations! I hired Haggerty to restore my fire damaged Office Building in Antioch in January 2020. We had an initial contract about $1.65M to rebuild the buildings, with all the insurance payment. With their contract change orders (9 of them), the contract comes to $2.54M, we have to pay out of pocket almost $300, 000 at the end of the contract to just get the office building rebuilt. This is after all the insurance payment and we have to pay out of pocket $300k! After a reconstruction with Haggerty, we are in a big debt of $300k. I have called and emailed their CEO Ryan Haggerty many times before project close and he didn't return a single call. He don't even want to know or care whether the customer has any concerns. The quality issue: 1)The building outside window glasses bottom aluminum frame has no silicone or other sealant seals and big holes and openings rats can directly go to the room. The non sealed openings from foundation edge all the way from one end to the other end of the whole building. No seal at all. I called them and they come out once sealed a few small pierces and did a very careless job. Still majority of the frame still not sealed at all. 2) $6000 landscape upgrade only planted a few small plants and many things said done never did. 3) all the locks many of them defective to lock or bolt stuck can't use 4) All the thermostats were Honeywell T6 before fire with WIFI control and they changed to T4 no WIFI 5) AT&T equipment bill and utilities payment we paid during reconstruction and nationwide paid to recover, Haggerty took that with their reimbursement check and never paid back. Many other issues hard to list all: front door step said make ADA accessible ended up none. Overall, I think you will be better off to hire someone else other than Haggerty to do your restoration job. You won't end up with a $300K red for a simple restoration of your buildings that even not completely finished.

I’ve known Haggerty Construction for over a decade and they are customer first. They helped us with our first commercial property and made this a great experience with no surprises. Thanks to Ryan and his team helping educate us throughout the process.
