This was a truly standout experience in every way! Grand Strand Appliance was new to me — I was attracted by so many heartfelt reviews. Within minutes, I was speaking with a friendly and conversational receptionist who scheduled a time for the repair. Ernest arrived when promised and I immediately knew he is everything the other reviewers said he is. He’s such a friendly guy and calmly went to work. He diagnosed the problem right away, explained it clearly and, with a perfect energy, set about fixing it for me. In making the repair, I could see he did more than he really needed to do — this a man who is better than his word — the entire experience was the kind of thing we all hope for, but seldom have. Ernest is a true gentleman — he runs his business and handles himself with honesty and genuineness. I am 61 years old and have been a homeowner my entire adult life, so I’ve got lots of experience in these things and can tell you plainly this is the company/person to call. The world needs more people like Ernest.

Horrible experience! Went through 2/10 home warranty. Ernest came out and did his assessment; we talked in great length about the problem with my washer. 3 weeks until the part comes in. He ordered wrong part, then blamed me for the issue. He was very confrontational, threatened physical violence, then refused to complete the job even though I already paid his fee. 100% disabled veteran with limited means. I’ve had no washer for almost a month now… been washing clothes in my sink… DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I am extremely happy with this company. From the 1 st contact with April that does the scheduling to Ernest coming out for the job . We have used them for at least 5 years . Today was a scheduled visit for my dryer as maintenance for lint buildup up . Ernest allowed me to observe him working because I’m afraid of house fires from the vent . Fortunately I got a clean report card . Grand Strand Appliances- Ernest also looked at my glass stove for me and advised me what I needed to do . Once we get the new stove , I will be back to Again, give my review. I highly recommend him for all your appliances.

I was in a pickle . My dryer broke and I needed it fixed asap.i called Gavin and he told me he could come out in two days. I really needed my dryer. Gavin called me back and said he would send someone in a few hours. Thomas (technician)called about 45 minutes later and was on his way. He was very professional and kind. I was drying clothes in 20 minutes.. Thank you so very much!
