First Impression Fencing & Automatic Gates

I would like to share my appreciation with Ricky and his team for helping me complete my project. My original plan would’ve excluded the service of having my fence set with a water resistant weather sealer to extend my fence’s durability; however, Ricky was able to provide knowledgeable guidance that aided in meeting my financial budget to complete my project as envisioned. He was eager to help make this happen for me, which greatly shows his compassion towards his customers. It also shows the pride he takes in his work. His employees worked quickly and we’re very friendly. I am extremely satisfied with his work from start to finish and I am so happy I was able to have everything I originally intended, done for a reasonable price. If you were looking to start a project or have minor adjustments that need fixing, I highly recommend First Impression Fencing & Automatic Gates. They are highly responsive (Ricky calls back almost immediately), they work quick, and Ricky is highly communicative. Again, I cannot stress my appreciation for his knowledge in this field to assure my satisfaction. 10 out of 10.

We picked this company because they specialized in automatic gates. We all ready had a gate in our front yard, how ever we were tired of getting out to open. I am pleased, to say the lease with Ricky and his crew. His communication was great with my husband I. From the first meeting Ricky came out and was very professional, Ricky and his crew got the job done in a timely manner considering the weather this past week. I would absolutely recommend First Impression Fencing for your next project. Thank you Ricky!

Excellent performance and customer service! I called in the morning needing additional remotes and a keypad installed for my electric swing arm gate and by 2:00 that afternoon Ricky was there and did everything I needed that I couldn’t find any other gate company to do for the past two years! He was very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. If only every sub contractor I worked with was like him, this would be a better world. He was honestly that nice and respectful. He also had to come from Fresno to an outlying town 45 miles away. I couldn’t be happier and more relieved to finally have more than one remote plus the keypad which will now allow me to grant sub contractors access when I’m not home to let them in.

Ricky Pizano took a $2000 deposit on November 29, 2019 for a new gate motor. He was supposed to buy it and install it and a new gate within 2 weeks. He repeatedly gives excuses for why he hasn't done the work, he makes appointments to install and then doesn't show up, and refuses to return my payment. He states that he has my motor, but won't bring it over. If you do business with this company, do not give any money up front. I would give Zero stars if that was an option. Update:I ended up hiring Automated Access to finish my project and they were able to do the job in a timely manner and did not charge me a dime upfront. Ricky Pizano agreed to pay me the entire $2,000 deposit back. To date, Ricky Pizano has paid me back $1,000 of the $2,000. He was supposed to pay the remaining $1,000 back on September 4th, but hasn't made a payment yet. I would advise anyone interested in getting a metal gate fabricated or needs a new automatic gate opener to search in the Better Business website for companies that have A or A+ ratings and then verify with the state contractors board that the company has a contractors license, a bond, and workers compensation insurance for their employees. First Impression Fencing has an F rating with the BBB and does not have a contractors license, bond, or insurance.

Horrible Service!!! Paid $2000 for a pedestrian gate back in March of 2020 and it’s now November of 2020 and it’s still not complete. It took about 3 months for him to actually install the gate when he told me it would take 3 days to a week! After the gate was installed he never made the wholes for the door handles, there was a lock box installed and it didn’t fit, and one of the post was drilled into my house stucco into no stud!! They used wood shims to try and make the screws to stay but they came out of the wall. Now the gate doesn’t close right. He kept telling me he’d come to fix it and would never come. Then his girlfriend or sister called and said she’s handling his phone calls now and she’ll have his brother, who has a separate company, come and fix the gate. So his brother comes and quotes me a price of $450!! I told him I already paid $2000 you can get it from your brother. He said he can’t all he can do for free is fix the post that’s coming off the wall. Then what do you know, eventually he stopped returning calls and never came. So STAY AWAY from this company. He doesn’t even have an actual contractors license to be making these gates. I will be taking him to small claims court and reporting him practicing without a license.
