Downs Plumbing & Gas

Cannot recommend these guys more!! Had two other quotes from people in my area & they were trying to charge me double almost triple what Downs was! They even came out and fixed my busted pipe in the middle of a snowstorm. The most honest guys around 10/10 recommend.

Used the services of this company back in March to exchange the water heater in my house. Regina on the phone was great. Provided me with 2 quotes one with the unit and one only with installation services. About a week later, techs were in my house, installed the unit quickly, very professionally, they even took the debris and packaging if the unit I had bought. The company took care of permits and all. Great company to work with and I will definitely call them again for other services.

On time, had correct parts and tools. Removed old 55 gal electric heater and installed new 55 gal electric heater. About 1.5 hrs total.

I needed a new gas water heater and contacted Downs. The receptionist was very professional, asked for photos of the old one, and was able to set up a date and time window. I received the call the morning they were scheduled and within 30 minutes of the call, the techs arrived. They immediately went to work, removed the old water heater, upgraded the water and gas lines to meet todays code, and installed the new water heater. They were very professional and respectful the entire time. Downs Plumbing is now the only company I will use for plumbing needs.

Did business with these folks, did great work. >20K worth of work. Then when I called them for more follow-on work they demanded up-front payment - with a client that paid all the bills and had a successful project with them. Relationships mean nothing to Downs.
