I brought my phone in for what I thought was just a simple battery replacement, but the experience I had at Rhythm Mississippi completely exceeded my expectations. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism, honesty, and a level of care you don’t find everywhere. What really impressed me was the transparency. When he “repaired my phone” he replaced one camera lens glass and my front screens glass. They damaged my actual camera during the repair process and the screen is an aftermarket that has completely changed the coloration of my screen and brightness. When confronted I was lied to being told it was just because it was an aftermarket lens (in which I was never made aware of before hand or notified of it could damage or change the operation or appearance of the camera or screen)! I proceeded to take it to someone I knew who owned an electronic repair shop and they notified me it was indeed damage to the camera itself, now my back camera has black dots and a huge glare when the flash is turned on making the pictures hardly noticeable that were never there before I got just the glass replaced. When I tried to show him the difference in my phone and my friend that was with me who has the exact phone he kept interrupting me and wouldn’t let me speak. So I realized as being both younger women (23-27) it seemed like he was trying to hustle what he thought was uneducated young lady’s. So I came back up with my grandmother hoping to resolve the issues, yet the disrespect continued to not only us but her, he interrupted and would not let either of us speak. I was offered a refund with the notice of (this time after once already coming back from the original repair) that if he gives me the refund the screen and camera lens has to be ripped off and replaced with my original broken screen that was guaranteed by his words more damaged then before due to how it has to be removed to be replaced. Also being told after realizing now there are issues with my phone due to their absence of attention and detail, he mentions a sign that reads “we will not be responsible for any damage that occurs during the repair” and apologizes for never showing me the sign when we first came to fix it and also mentioned he usually gets customers to sign a legal document stating you agree to those terms. So that now knowing they are facing lose of money due to their carelessness he now wanted to apply this statement saying “if I do fix your camera and screen then there’s a 50/50 percent chance due to heat being applied to repair it that something else could mess up and we will not be responsible for it” so now that they are the only reason I’m having to get it repaired again they now want to apply the agreement he never mentioned before as I have a witness and he has cameras that he would not pull up the footage to after threatening me with it saying that he did in fact say it only after my grandmother got involved and I mentioned my lawyer. When we originally went to get it fixed the first time they had an hour till close and stressed to us to be back by 5:50 they close at 6 I feel as if I was not giving the appropriate work due to rushing for close and in that process it damaged my phone screen and camera. AS IN MY REVIEW already mentioned I did not go to the other repair shop until the 1st time of having to come back to address the issues you have caused during the repair including my camera and my screen. He also did not touch my phone just saw the pictures and quality comparison of my screen to Heather Walters who had the exact same screen. That is when he agreed it was indeed the camera itself. 5. I and my witness can both see 2 very visible scratches going to my camera at the area that had to be taken off for the repair. 6. Once I said this seems to be a situation for legal involvement, you told us to leave your store since I won’t take your offers of possibly a 50/50 of you damaging my phone with no replacement or fix, and only as I’ve already said both of this before a refund only with putting my old more damaged due to being removed screen back on. 7. Once I mentioned getting legal involvement because you wouldn’t accept our offer of a guarantee repair you told us to leave your store.
