Atlas Transmission

Atlas does a transmission for me each month or so on my fleet. Always done within a day or two and I know the cost upfront, extremely rare for any issues after a replacement and if there is they always handle it for me. Would highly recommend.

The Atlas Transmission was a major let down! I took my Volkswagen Routan there due to transmission failure on Friday 9/26/2025. We were never notified or informed of what was going on with the transmission. We had to call on Monday 9/29/2025 to receive any updates. When we called, we were told that the van is ready for pick up. When we picked the van up it was filthy on the inside with oil grease and dirt over the driver's door and steering wheel, with the driving mat covered with dirty oil, and they flipped it over so that the grip part was placed upright, and left that way. I had to use (3) strips of Clorox wipes (5) times just to clean the steering wheel. When we proceeded to drive home on the freeway. I was driving in front of my husband when he called me on my cellphone informing me that pink liquid is splashing on his windshield coming from my recently repaired van. We immediately drove the van home and noticed transmission fluid had spilled out in the driveway and when I was driving, the fluid had splattered all over the back window and dripping down the back hatchback. We called Atlas to inform them of the spilled out transmission fluid upon pick up. We were told that they would send a tow truck to retrieve the van on Tuesday 10/2/2025. My husband had to call on Tuesday morning to ask if they would still pickup the van. He was told that the tow truck is on the way. The van remained in their shop from 9/30/2025 Tuesday until 10/4/2025 Saturday when we had to call and ask if the van was ready. During the call we were informed that the van was ready, and if we wanted to pick up the van they would leave it outside the shop because they were closing and if we had another key. After my husband conversation with the female receptionist it was decided that the van be retrieved on 10/6/2025 Monday. During this whole ordeal there was no communication, no courtesy calls, offer for rental assistance, or money back for this great inconvenience. My husband had to call off work on 9/29/2025 Monday because I had to use his car to go to work. My daughter had to wait in the nearby library after school because we were delayed multiple of days picking her up due to the time the van was in their shop. Atlas never communicated to us anything about the intial transmission issue or about the replaced transmission. I am very skeptical, and donot trust driving the van and have reluctantly decided to trade the van and purchase a new vehicle. The lack of communication, and failure of a supposedly new part has been very disturbing. If you go to Atlas Transmission just BEWARE!!
