58 Foundations & Waterproofing

We had 58 Foundations come out to see if they could fix our outside area way drain that was not draining. Sean came out and provided us with a solution to replace the existing drain. The cost was very reasonable. The crew team (consisting of Jose R, Roger R, and Hilario G) arrived on time and were very knowledgeable. They walked us through what was going to be done. They also kept us informed as they completed each major step along the way. Once they were done, they did a test run to show us how the new sump pump works and how to operate and understand the controller switch. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up the area before they left. We are very pleased with the job and will certainly use them if needed for future issues. Best experience ever. Super fair pricing along with expert advice for my questions. I had Keith come out for the quote and he was transparent on what he’d recommend and how to get the best results for what I needed (air sealing and encapsulation of my basement.) The guys doing the work were prompt and clear on what they needed or were doing. My team was Wilson P., Bryan R., and Miguel Z. And each of them were polite and respectful the entire day. They completely did my basement and front porch in 1 day and were very meticulous about keeping my stuff clean/ensuring they didn’t leave any trash behind. When they experienced an issue, they resolved it by adding 2 in foam board and they didn’t add it to the total cost. Super happy customer!

Jeff Oosterhouse was at my home today for suspected foundational concerns. Water was coming into the basement at various times. He thoroughly inspected my house and just as he was finishing measuring to write the estimate, he noticed the issue was actually a sewer line. Really impressed with Jeff’s incredible customer service. It’s not often that the customer needs are truly prioritized, especially as a woman living alone. His honesty about what service was needed is greatly appreciated. If I later end up needing foundational work, I will be back strictly because of Jeff’s outstanding service!

The crew was super professional and thorough. Every morning, I received a phone call from the lead installer Wilson P. letting me know their arrival time. Every day they set up plastic to block dust in the kitchen area. I had wrapped plastic around my personal items in the basement in preparation for the project, and even still, they added a second layer and went up and between every joist securely. The job was projected at 3 days and that's exactly how long it took. Wilson P. checked in with me at various points to explain the work and the various parts of the sump system. He and the rest of his crew, Bryan M. and Gustavo B. were friendly and hardworking. I'm still amazed at the lack of dust in the basement with all the jack hammering and grinding that went on. Their dust collection system is no joke. As a contractor myself, I really appreciate the efforts of everyone at 58 Foundations that was involved, especially the guys doing the tough work of cutting and hauling concrete all day. Also need to give a shout out to Keith M. who had a very no-nonsense sales style and Rocky L. who stopped by to check on the progress on the first day. I already have a referral heading your way for a crawlspace waterproofing for my friend's house. Thanks again, it was a painless experience.
