Roof For Less

Bought this house 2019 when they put the roof on new. First time home buying I had no idea what to look for. Home inspection went fine. When we had the crazy storms that we had the past month I’ve had a leak coming from my bay window reached out to the owner he told me to text him I did and got “ok” in return. Never tried to set up date come look at it. Found the paper work on the house and the craftsmanship is out of warranty. Very unfortunate but it is what it is. I had another roof company come out to look at it and they say the roof was not installed properly and from the pictures you can see where, and for a newer roof there’s a ton of poor craftsmanship with shingles already breaking off, the company that came out thinks they used 2nd hand shingles.I don’t really know what that means but can’t be good quality. So because of them not doing the roof correctly I’m out money, having to pay for their mistake. I do not recommend this company. But from what I’ve been told they’re one of the cheapest roofing companies but careful what you pay for.

They did a great job on the roof. It looks great and they did it in a day and a half. The two small things that would give me pause to hire them again would be that they didn’t fully clean up the nails on the ground. The next day after we went to the property, we found about 40 nails in our lawn. When I brought it up with the owner, he sent somebody down immediately, even on a Sunday, to run their magnet again and they found another 40 to 50. The second thing was, I had arranged with the owner to pay extra to have them put screws in our facia because we have wind in that area. When I inspected the property, I realized they had put no screws in the facia. When I brought it up to the owner, he said that they did. It was only after I sent him 15 pictures showing him proof that no screws have been put in did he relent and say that they didn’t. He did lower the amount of the invoice to reflect the screws not being put in, but it was disappointing that something that we had contracted wasn’t completed. All in all the work was good with the shingles and looks very professional. I would just work with them to make sure the extras are completed as contracted. Though it didn’t go as smoothly as we had hoped, they did save us some money over the other bids.

After we lost my father, we had to get his house ready to sell. The buyer required us to provide a brand new roof. Roofs for Less was recommended by a couple at our church, so I called Roofs for Less on Monday. They were working on the roof and had it done two days later. Upon inspection, there were a couple of concerns that are probably quite common when getting a roof done, after all it's a large area where details don't always immediately come out. I called Roofs for Less and reviewed the inspection. They were there on the same day resolving a couple of minor issues. I love how responsive they were including taking me on top of the roof to review it with me. It passed inspection and we closed on the house. I am very happy with their customer service!

We bought a home and they replaced the roof right before we moved in. Initially, the roof looked great, but nails were left all over our yard, aswell as cigarette buds. We were happy with the roof but not 100% happy with the professionalism. HOWEVER, today I realized our attic was FULL of debris from replacing the roof. Hundreds of rusty nails, wood shards, roof shingles, etc. I’m not gonna lie, I was pissed. And it took us months to notice it because we hadn’t checked the attic since they replaced the roof. I reached out and told them what I found, and how upset I was, and they sent someone to clean out the attic within an hour. He was kind, cleaned it well, and they did not charge us for it. I was pleasantly surprised with how professional and nice they were in fixing this issue. Most companies wouldn’t have done that. Previously, I would’ve never hired them again. But after today, I absolutely will. Good on them for doing the right thing. Thank you guys!
