Poet Rooftop Garden is without a doubt one of the best dining spots in Lahore. The restaurant offers a breathtaking rooftop view, creating the perfect atmosphere for family gatherings, friendly meetups, or even a quiet dinner. What truly makes this place special is its delicious food. Their mutton karahi is cooked to perfection with tender meat and rich spices, making it an unforgettable dish. The chicken biryani is another highlight, bursting with flavor and served in a generous portion that leaves you fully satisfied. If you’re a fan of roasted meat, the roast mutton is a must-try, juicy and packed with authentic taste. To balance it out, their simple salad is fresh, crisp, and pairs wonderfully with every meal. The staff is welcoming, service is quick, and the ambiance is simply unmatched. Poet Rooftop Garden truly combines taste, comfort, and elegance—highly recommended!

It was such a bad experience. Zero taste. Order kharahi ki or chicken ka Salaan dy dya. Cheese kabab kya or nkly normal. High price, low taste. Not recommended. Smelly place, too many flies .

I recently visited for their hi-tea and, unfortunately, it fell short of expectations in several key areas. While the ambiance was decent, the overall experience left much to be desired. Firstly, the variety of dishes was quite limited, especially when compared to other restaurants offering hi-tea at a similar price point. One of the biggest letdowns was the Bar B Q section, particularly the kebabs, which were dry over spicy and lacked flavor. Another issue was with the serving plates—they were so small that we had to make multiple trips just to get a decent portion of food. This constant back-and-forth made it hard to relax and enjoy the time with friends. Instead of sitting down and having a pleasant chat, everyone was up and down just to refill their plates. Adding to the inconvenience, most of the dishes were kept covered, and there was rarely anyone nearby to assist. We had to wait for staff to come and open the dishes, which was frustrating and time-consuming. The dessert taste was good though.

Visited them on weekend for ala carte, they gave us table on the 2nd floor, there were insects due to lahores weather, it was extremely dark, i had to ask them to give us table downstairs, service was not good, i had to getup to call waiters again n again, food is good but do visit in weekdays if u want ala carte.

We went to The Poet Restaurant with family. Seating was available in the buffet area, but we wanted à la carte. The buffet section was too rushed and noisy. Waiters took some time to take our order. The restaurant is a bit too flashy for my taste. Also, the food is very spicy, which the kids did not like. Some BBQ items were good, but others were extremely spicy.
