Buyer Beware I have had a good relationship with Fawley Music for years and was surprised to have this most recent interaction but felt I should share it. I was purchasing D'Addario SX mandolin string (which retail at the D'Addario site for around $22). I chose to buy local and was also happy to be able to get them right away. When I checked out, the sales person said, "Those are buy one get one free if you want to grab another pair." I did so. He rang it up and the total was $42. I was a little startled but in a hurry and just left with the strings. As I called back later I pointed out the discrepancy saying that it was not BOGO at all and he said "Well, that's the package price we have when you buy two sets." I asked "How much would you charge if I purchased one set?" and he quoted the more reasonable $21 amount. I said "so it's really not buy one get one free at all," and he replied "if you want to look at it like that." I will keep my strings because I don't trust myself to hold my irrational temper if I were to go in to return them and I can always use another pair of strings. But note- Fawley Music does not define "buy one get one free" the way most businesses do.

We stopped in since we were in town playing Fuzzfest to pick up some guitar strings. What an amazing music store! The staff was friendly and helpful. The store was well stocked and had everything we needed and more! Don't wait go now!

Besides it being the only music store in Morgantown it's definitely the bet it's been outlasting the other music stores for 60 + years great place mom and pop setup. Not enough stores like it anymore if you're a usual costumer they will likely know you by name.

Best service and sales staff in the tri-state area! I've been a customer for over 20 years! Drop in to see them. You won't be disappointed!
