I called ahead to ask about a typewriter repair. They said I could come in and have them look at it, no appointment necessary. I made the 25-minute drive there, only to be told they would charge an $85 diagnostic fee to even look at it. I told them they should have mentioned that on the phone. They said they'd pass that feedback on. More Than Vacuums, Less Than Competent.

I brought in my Grandma's sewing machine for a much needed servicing and Gabriela was an absolute delight to work with. She explained the pricing (and potential pricing if parts were needed) and an estimate on how long it may take. The service team were right on schedule with the time estimate and explained about needing replacement parts (which I had honestly anticipated) and the machine was actually ready ahead of schedule! Pricing was on par with other estimates I had seen for the service but the genuine care of customer I received when interacting with Gabriela made this chore into an enjoyable experience.
