Monell Music

Monell has been a seriously reliable and awesome guitar tech and salesman. I have had two bass jack wires completely disconnect, and Monell got them re-soldered in 10 minutes. (No emergency charges or anything) He knows I teach rock band and need the bass the next day. In addition, he showed this band director a thing or two about how to adjust guitar necks and strings. MOST importantly, Monell helped me pick out a new guitar. After 17 years with my old Squier Strat, it was time. I just gave TJ a couple criteria. 1. Humbuckers. 2. Versatility. 3. Best quality for price. He handed me a G&L ASAT Tribute Deluxe, and I can't put it down! You bet this band director will be coming back, especially if we need new amps and rock band equipment at the school. This man is a skilled instrument repairer, luthier, and salesman, and I couldn't be happier with the results I've been getting! (Guitar is in my basement, not his shop)

Such a cool little store, and you won’t find friendlier service anywhere. Knowledgable about reed, brass, bowed, percussion instruments, and guitars/bass. And TJ is always good for an interesting conversation about music and very up front if something is outside of his area of expertise. Don’t expect Guitar Center selection, but then again you don’t have to expect Guitar Center attitude and opinions. Wish I could give more stars, this is a great small business worth seeking out!

The owner is super kind, and resourceful, he does rentals, restringing of stringed instruments, and does rebowing as well. Super duper recommend for anyone looking for instrument supplies, or anyone looking for a good local music store

He was very kind, fixed my A string on my violin. He worked very fast and even losend my small pegs and fixed my bridge that I didnt even know was crooked. Would recommend! Will be going again if needed.
