Maine Geeks - Computer & iPhone Repair

I used to recommend these guys when I brought my first PC over there to get it built up but ever since the fire I had in August and lost everything I tried to do the same thing again with my second PC I bought all I need was a SSD drive swapped out and cloned and get my computer set up. They try to triple charge me then when I first time paid for a PC built and they try to say it’s because of management change. I don’t believe that. How can you change your prices less than a year older than that there was another issue with one of the people who works there how rude he was and calling me an idiot for no reason I will not recommend these guys ever again, because of that one individual with the red beard. I hope this shine some light for people who go there and still consider them. I would think twice now because of them.

Dropped my Ps5 for a HDMi replacement. It took a week, guy that answers the phone doesn't really know anything but that they are "working" on it. Everything works fine again. Five stars because they did the job I asked of them. Thanks guys 💯

I can't think of a worse customer experience ever. Not only did Maine Geeks not perform as stated but fried our ipad, like many others have reported, they will not communicate at all. Only when we called them did we get any info, and it was always an excuse. Nick, the "manager" was the rudest person I've ever encountered in customer service. When I started to explain the reason for my call he definitely knew the situation I was talking about, became very defensive, stated they owed us nothing. I asked who the owner was, he said he didn't know; I asked who was the manager, he stated he was the manager and he didn't report to anyone, then he hung up. Don't go there!

I dropped my laptop off early on a Wednesday and was told it might be ready thatday, but definitely the next. Thursday was told they'd get to it that night. Friday they had finally looked at it and had a question, said it would be finished Saturday. Called Saturday afternoon and several times Sunday with no response. Finally reached someone Monday who said their tech had taken the weekend off. I was only willing to pay their prices (nearly twice as much as others I checked) because they promised fast service. Would have been fine if they'd delivered what they offered, but definitely not worth it. I just got home and haven't used it yet, so I'm hopings it's actually fixed; since they weren't honest about when they'dfix it, I don'ttrustthem with anythingelse either. I'm also not trusting that they'll put this review up, but in case they do, I'd never use their service again.
