I had an excellent experience with JL computer service. The customer service was truly high quality—friendly, professional, and patient in explaining everything clearly. I really appreciated how responsive and honest they were throughout the process. Jack (the owner) went ABOVE and BEYOND. He came in when the office was CLOSED to work on my laptop in order to meet my timetable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, top-notch computer repair.

(Updated). Went again twice, and sister did as well. We LOVE Jack. He is the ONLY guy to call for PC issues in upper Montco. Wound up giving him more money than he charged. Everyone should call him first, and I know, as I called a bunch of others who (1) tried to convince me of bigger problems than it was (2) needed me to leave my PC overnight or for days for 15 minute job (3) were evasive with respect to how much things would cost. My single word response - JACK. (and he's a really cool guy). These guys are great. Was in from out of town, had a broken key, other places wanted me to 'leave' my laptop and were going to make it into a much bigger production (e.g. I'd back it up first), and for me, they may have planned to send it elsewhere. Came in, forgot what they charged me, but was out in 15 minutes. Nice guys, honest and knew what they were doing. Think they owned the Apple place on Quince Orchard. This is where you want to go if you need PC help in Gaithersburg or Germantown. Forget the other clowns.

A great experience. This guy was very knowledgeable and didn’t make assumptions like another repair shop I went to. He showed me exactly where the part number was for the piece that needed to be repaired and found a low-cost version of it online to purchase. I ended up fixing my laptop myself as it turned out to be a real quick fix. Great customer service .. five ⭐️’s.

This company “repaired” my MacBook screen on 7/31/2024, but just last week the screen completely failed and half of the screen went black. When I took it to Apple, I learned that this company had installed a third-party screen without my knowledge. Apple described it as “the worst screen they had ever seen” and suggested it was likely ordered from eBay. Not only was I never informed that a non-Apple part was being used, but I was also not told that installing a third-party screen would void my AppleCare coverage. Because of that, what should have been a simple $99 AppleCare repair ended up forcing me to buy a brand new $1,000 MacBook. To make matters worse, I had already paid this company $413.40 for a screen that failed in less than two years without any damage on my part. To make a long story short, this company was dishonest, used poor-quality parts, and ultimately cost me far more than if I had gone directly through Apple.

Jack did a fantastic job on my computer repair. He is very competent and professional.
