I had 3 different companies give me an estimate for some issues we were having with my dad's fireplace. We were having a backdraft of smoke into the living room. After carefully reviewing all 3 companies, we decided to use Hearthside Helpers and were not disappointed. Not only were they on time to their appointments, but they were all very courteous as well. Timothy took the time to explain our options and the process involved for each one. Pure professionalism throughout the entire process and continuously touched base with us. We definitely would recommend them. Additional notes: They were able to match bricks perfectly for the resizing and installed the chimney cap in the rain. We appreciate the hard workers. I had a really tough job for Hearthside Helpers. After a chimney fire, I needed to have the chimney cap removed, the flue liner replaced, and the firebox rebuilt. Complicating matters, the gable is four stories off the ground and I have a shake roof. Brother! What a mess. Well, Ferdinand and his crew were up for the job. He brought in a monster crane to accomplish the task without any damage to the roof. It was a long and difficult process in some pretty inclement weather, but Hearthside Helpers prevailed and now we sit by the warmth of the fireplace with profound gratitude that the job was well done and our system is safe and in top notch shape. The entire crew was considerate and efficient throughout and considering the difficulty of this job, the price was, though lofty, truly reasonable. You’ve probably heard this before, “Quality doesn’t cost. It pays.” Case in point.

Timothy has his company have been so helpful and attentive to my fireplace and chimney needs. My wood stove was smoking back and not drafting properly. They were able to solve the problem and get it back in working order. Thank you!

Timothy came to my house to do a fireplace inspection/repair, because our gas fireplace was no longer working correctly. He explained to me in very easy, concise language exactly what was needed to repair it. He was very polite and knowledgeable. I highly recommend his service.

I cannot praise this company and the quality of work they do enough. We moved into our house about a year ago and weren't sure when, if ever, our gas fireplace was last serviced. We had no idea how badly it was needed! Timothy came and took it all apart, cleaned it, made sure everything was working at peak efficiency and corrected some badly misplaced logs. He even repaired the broken electrical switch that turns it off and on. It looks and operates beautifully now and we're all set for the incoming cold weather months. Thank you so much!
