"Worth every penny!" - That is what my husband said while sitting out on our new patio designed by David Burton of Ginkgo Design. We could not be more pleased with the outcome and now we are thoroughly enjoying our new outdoor space! David designed and then acted as the project manager on our hardscaping and landscaping. We appreciated his kindness, communication style and attention to detail. He had detailed hardscaping and landscaping plans that we worked through together. He had a complete and thorough budget and ideas on how to save money. The contractors that he brought in were also excellent! They all finished the work in the expected time frame, cleaned up after they finished and now we are ready for summer! Thank you David!

We’ve worked with David twice over the past three years — first for the design of our patio, plantings, lighting and more for our new home, and more recently for a complete pool and landscape project (Poolscapes Vermont). We were so happy with his first design that hiring him again was a no-brainer. The new pool, patio, lighting, fencing, and landscaping all tie in seamlessly with our existing yard, and the results are absolutely amazing. David is a phenomenal designer and did an excellent job managing and coordinating with contractors to bring our vision to life. We couldn’t be happier!

I worked with David Burton over a period of about 2 years to plan, and build a pool and surrounding landscape for my challenging lot, which is on a hillside. He then designed and managed the entire project beautifully, including gaining approvals from the HOA - no easy task with Act 250 and new state rulings on water runofff. There is no better person to work with than David. He is thorough, thoughtful, communicates clearly and often, manages any challenge and contractors with calm and diplomacy. He attends to every detail, and has incredible integrity. He is cost conscious. He is highly skilled at his craft -- having a remarkable eye for planning the landscaping with artistry, color, and local plants. I am thrilled with my new pool and surrounding plantings and can't wait for spring to see all in bloom. David is a gem. Anyone would be most fortunate to work with him.

We loved working with David at Ginkgo Design and our project came out amazing! We had done so many upgrades to our house but had put the landscaping off until the end as we were stuck on what we envisioned. David helped us get there and made it so easy. Ginkgo Design was great to work with. David was quick to respond to questions and has been very helpful throughout the process. He did a fantastic job coming up with a beautiful and cohesive design, thoughtfully incorporating our many requests. David also went above and beyond in helping us locate and procure the plants from local vendors, even though he had only been commissioned for the design itself. We’d highly recommend Ginkgo Design!
