His color matching and restoration skills are spot on, and he always delivers on his estimates, often giving them within minutes of assessing the furniture. He goes above and beyond by offering pickup and drop-off services for multiple or heavy items, making the whole process incredibly convenient. We only wish we had discovered Steve sooner! I have a small table that has a leg broken off. I asked if it could be repaired or could I have help identifying the wood that it's made from. Just spoke with the owner and his response to me was "I'm going to have to pass on this, there just isn't any money in it." then he hung up on me. No help or guidance and very rude. No community support. In response to your reply: Had you conveyed any of this over the phone, that would have been the professional response but instead you responded with "there isn't any money in it" and hung up on me.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Geneva Restoration. I have 4 pieces of furniture that I want to touch up - a kitchen tabletop, a wooden bench and side table that belonged to my husband’s grandmother, and a wine barrel. None of these pieces were expensive, but they are solid and instead of just tossing them away and buying more furniture, I wanted to get them refinished. Steve came over to look at everything. I felt like he didn’t think any of it was worth his time and he left without giving me any input as to what he thought I should do (have him fix it, fix it myself, or toss it). When he left I had the impression that he would get back to me with an estimate for how much he’d charge for each item. However, I haven’t heard back from him. Instead, I’ve tackled the kitchen table myself so I am saving money but who knows how it will end up! If I was willing to pay, why wouldn’t Steve give me the estimate and tell me it’s up to me if I wanted to spend it? This experience made me feel like if you don’t have super expensive heirloom furniture, then don’t bother contacting Geneva Restoration.
