Driver Hotel

We were on an official visit to Kasur Planned to visit Javed Fish but he was closed. Someone recommended Driver Hotel fish so we headed there Driver Hotel is a full fledged hotel having variety of Manu including different SALAN, Karahi, Tikki and off course Fish We ordered Fish n some Tikkis Fish: Their fish is deep fried unlike Javed Fish which is shallow fried. That's why our order served in just 10 min. Fish was too oily that it became heavier to eat. Salt wasn't evenly spread, some pieces were over salted. It's a NO GO place. If you're coming all the way from Lahore or other cities then Javed Fish is worth the wait Tikki: It's so so, just time pass. Bland taste Fish: 880 Rs/kg Tikki: 50 Rs

A good place to enjoy the local kasuri fish. It’s located on Main Street and have multiple family and other halls for sitting. They have variety of food from bbq to normal dishes. We tried grilled and fried fish and both were nice. We also ordered malai boti and chicken tawa chicken.

We drove from Lahore to try their fried fish but it was not worth the drive. We ordered their BBQ and Fried Fish. Fried Fish was oily and tasteless. The masala coating just covered the top skin and the fish meat did not had any taste. Chicken Kabab and Malai Boti were better but again, not worth the drive. The seating is just like you get in any regular hotel.

I tried their fish and tawa pieces, which tasted good, but their service was a bit slow. Also, the tawa pieces were a bit cold, perhaps because they were served with the fish, and the fish took longer to prepare.

We drove from lahore to have the famous Kasuri fish and as this place was recommended by local friends, so we gave it a try. We ordered 5kg tawa fish.. the fish was served with only 3 small plates of mint raita for 8 persons, extra mint raita was separately charged. The fish was tasteless, the only thing it had was spices, there were no separate sauces available.. The service was slow, the sitting was just ok.. Overall, the kasuri fish isn't worth it even if you are from kasur.. it's just a waste of money for tasteless hype..
