Given the establishment’s name and its refined ambiance, we anticipated a culinary experience with particular attention to quality and detail. The setting itself was lovely – the atmosphere calm and well-composed, and the staff courteous, polished, and attentive throughout the evening. As a starter, we selected the caviar platter. While the menu did not specify the exact variety of roe, our waiter very clearly and confidently informed us that the caviar being served was Beluga – a name that carries particular weight and prestige in the world of fine dining. The portion, which was 50 grams and priced at 16,500 PKR, was attractively presented alongside traditional accompaniments such as blinis and crème fraîche – a timeless and tasteful arrangement. Regrettably, the caviar’s flavor profile diverged significantly from what one typically associates with authentic Beluga. It was dominated by an intense saltiness and a briny, almost aggressively marine character – far removed from the delicate, buttery texture and nuanced, creamy finish that hallmark true sturgeon caviar of this caliber. The experience was more reminiscent of heavily preserved roe than of the rare delicacy we had anticipated. As someone with a longstanding interest in caviar and a working familiarity with its various forms, I could not help but note the considerable discrepancy in pricing. Internationally, certified Beluga caviar – depending on origin, producer, and grade – generally retails between €600 and €1,200 per 50 grams, equivalent to approximately PKR 180,000–360,000. In light of this stark contrast, we felt compelled to seek clarification regarding the true origin, species, and certification of the product served. Accordingly, we reached out to the restaurant via email to inquire politely and in good faith. However, despite the passage of time, we have yet to receive any form of response or acknowledgment. This silence is disappointing and gives the unfortunate impression that there may be an unwillingness to engage openly or transparently on the matter. In summary, while our overall evening was pleasant and the service gracious, I would strongly advise future guests who are specifically seeking an authentic caviar experience to inquire proactively about the provenance, certification, and species of any product served under the name “Beluga.”

Starters were amazing, main course was so so, apparently Chef is not focusing on dishes likes smoked chicken, Pad Thai and some helper is making such food. Environment is amazing, service is decent. A little improvement in Main course can make it excellent.
