American Professional Chimney & Masonry

I reached out and contacted American Professional Chimney and Masonry after another company gave me an extremely over priced cost for replacement of an ignition system for my basement gas fireplace. The technician for the first company clicked on the starter several times and then magically came up with a replacement cost of $1800. When I reached out to Professional Chimney and Masonry, the technician came with equipment and completed a full diagnostic test. Using testing equipment, the technician also determined that I needed a new ignition system. However, the replacement cost was 1/3 of what the first company was planning to charge. The day my system was installed, the technician was timely and very professional. I would recommend American Professional Chimney and Masonry to anyone looking for honest professional service.

American Professional Chimney did a fantastic rebuild of my chimney from the roofline up. They might not be able to match your bricks exactly if your house is old like mine, but they came pretty doggone close. They arrived on time, got the scaffolding up (which isn’t needed for all chimney jobs), protected the ongoing work with a tarp, and they worked diligently. The work was done about 3 years prior to me writing this review and it has held up very nicely with no problems at all.

I recently had a new water heater installed. I then needed a metal lining for my chimney and it turns out mortar repairs to my chimney. Confirmed with photos. American Professional Chimney & Masonry did a very thorough, professional job and left all work areas spotless. I would also recommend Lewis who did the work and was professional and answered all questions honestly without trying to raise the price. I can enjoy my fireplace one again safely. Would highly recommend. Highly rated in Washington Checkbook and they are used by my plumber who is well regarded.

We had a wonderful experience with American Professional Chimney & Masonry. We had them install a new gas insert into an old wood burning fireplace. Everyone from the company was prompt and courteous, and the end result is fantastic. We would definitely recommend this company and would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
