I have been visiting Tabbaq Restaurant since my childhood, and it has always held a special place in my heart. Their Charga and Naan have been my all-time favorites for as long as I can remember. Recently, I visited again with my family and ordered Charga, Naan, and Biryani. The moment I tasted the Charga, it instantly took me back to my childhood, the same taste, the same aroma, and the same inviting ambiance that I loved back then. It’s rare to find a place that maintains its quality and flavor over the years, but Tabbaq has truly kept its tradition alive. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, flavorful food.

During our stay in Lahore we went there everyday. Very friendly staff. Great variety of Pakistani food which tasted delicious.

Mutton Qeema Chanp 8/10 Mutton Karahi 7/10 Chicken Chargha 9/10 Naan 8/10 Tabaq never disappoints, tandoori roti wasn't available but the staff offered to fetch it from neighbors if we wanted. Service and consistency in taste is remarkable!

I recently revisited Tabaq after more than two decades, and it was quite an experience. We ordered: Fries Chicken Handi Daal Mash Roasted Chicken Roghni Naan The food was very good overall — well-balanced in taste, with the right level of spices, tenderness, and freshness. The Chicken Handi and Daal Mash stood out in particular, while the Roghni Naan complemented everything perfectly. The ambience, however, was just okay. As always, the place is very crowded and noisy, which takes away from the dining experience. The staff was helpful and attentive, but cleanliness seemed somewhat compromised, which was surprising for such a well-known spot. I feel the management really needs to put more effort into improving the restaurant’s upkeep and overall environment. In short: the food was great, service was good, but due to the ambience and cleanliness, I might think twice before visiting again.
