Not a sushi lover—until I tried SUMO! Visited SUMO Japanese Restaurant in Lahore and was blown away. The Miso Soup, Dynamite California Rolls, Crispy Maki, Chicken Teriyaki, and Chicken Teppanyaki—everything was spot on in taste and quality. Their courteous staff made the experience feel like a royal dinner. Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic Japanese flavors in Lahore!

Sumo is the best place for Japanese food in Lahore! The food was super tasty and felt like real Japanese dishes. Their service was fast and the staff was really nice. I loved their Dynamite California Rolls — they tasted so good and proper Japanese style. The place is also very nice and comfy, good for hangouts or any special dinner. If you like sushi or want to try Japanese food, you should definitely go there! Dessert was yummy.

Get a reservation so you don’t have to wait. They are pretty busy on weekends. The wait was worth it though. Loved the food, tasteful. They know what they’re doing with Japanese food. (Positively speaking) It was actually pretty good. Served welcome drinks and complimentary dessert. Tuna (Takaki) : Thinner than expected, but well made, soft and has a good texture with aftertaste. Loved the main course, Can’t remember the name but it was pretty good. Shrimps : Perfect balance of oil and heat. Loved that. The place is really good, it’s definitely one of favourites now.
