Punjab Civil Secretariat is located at Lower Mall in Lahore. The Punjab Civil Secretariat is the headquarters of all government departments. The chief secretary and all other major administrative secretaries are present here.

Punjab civil Secretariat Lahore is the Punjab province (Pakistan) headquarter, chief secretary, Punjab is the head. At present there are setting fallowing Departments, i . e Additional chief secretary, Punjab along with all Secretary / Departments of S&GAD, Higher education department, local government & CD department, Home department, law & PA department, Finance department & public prosecution department. The fallowing secretary are also setting at Punjab civil Secretariat Lahore, but the department setting at other places i . e Secretary Information & secretary cooperative. The National bank, Bank of Punjab and NADRA office are also provided the facility to public as well as Secretariat employees. Very beautiful & good envirment of this Secretariat.

Punjab Civil Secretariat is the main administrative hub of the province where all important government departments and officials work. It holds great significance as the center of decision-making and policy implementation. The location is secure and access is restricted, which is understandable due to its sensitive nature. However, like many other government institutions, the Secretariat also suffers from typical problems – inefficiency, delays in work, and lack of proper public facilitation. The infrastructure is old and in need of regular maintenance and modernization. With better management, transparency, and the inclusion of young, tech-savvy staff, this place could truly represent the importance of Punjab’s governance system. Until then, it remains a symbol of bureaucracy rather than efficiency.
