It started working as Kidng Edward Memorial hospital in 1912 , it was declared as DHQ hospital in 1953. It extended gradually from 40 bedded THQ Hospital to 340 bedded DHQ Hospital. Today, the Hospital serves more than half of million people each year, with more than 442, Physicians, Surgeons, Doctors, Allied Health Professional and Paramedical staff. As an integral part of the Layyah community, work goes beyond the walls of our facilities, providing care to diverse communities each year through Health Camps, Health Clinics, Government Departments and Orphan Homes.
